Since 1989, les Films de l’Autre has participated in the struggles to recognize the legitimacy of the independent filmmaking.
In 25 years, we have produced over 60 films, including 15 feature films, as well as short and middle length animation, documentary, essay and fiction. You are looking for a program of independent films? See what we have to offer you.

We also offer :
- An interactive conference given by our curator entitled "The legitimacy of the director-producer" describing our unique model of independent production, interesting for all creators in film, video and media arts. Or goal being to promote formal research and creative freedom in independent cinema, we bring together filmmakers acting as both producer-director of their films which are entirely controlled by themselves at all stages of production. This creative control is achieved while meeting all the administrative requirements of the various funding bodies as well as union regulations.

- A meeting with the filmmakers by Skype for a Q & A with the audience following the screening of films, enabling the public to benefit from the plurality of the various filmmakers and their respective approaches.
